Not only does that make way more sense it just also gets rid of that annoyance of accidentally throwing a grenade somewhere and getting a "vertibird can't reach this area" message. Vertibird Beacon, instead of throwing grenades to signal vertibirds you can make a reusable beacon. I know it's not for a lot of people, it makes things slightly harder with food and water being harder to come by (which I love) but it also has a lot of quality of life stuff like ways to set up fast travel between settlements, ammo crafting, better stores, more ways for settlers to help you, etc. I also never play Survival without Horizon. Some great recommendations already! I definitely never play without survival quick save cause you never know when the game will crash. Yet again these are more inconveniencing than actual challenge imo. I don't actually use this mod anymore but I think it's a good mod to use if you are annoyed by the carry weight issues that arise in Fo4 survival.
if you can teleport to the institute from anywhere it makes sense that you could teleport anywhere from the institute. if you wanted to play through survival and side with the institute this mod adds a lore friendly method of fast travel akin to the brotherhood's vertibird grenades. It is also just a quality mod for changing up the beginning of the game a bit! You can spawn level one practically naked in the glowing sea if you want. I like this mod for survival mode in particular cause you can make the game way more interesting to start out.
This mod is essential if you want to be able to fix bugs when you find them, it can be a bit cheaty but it still doesn't allow godmode and honestly if you are playing survival for a challenge then you aren't going to use it for anything but fixing bugs.
Personally I think the sleeping to save thing is more annoying than challenging so I think this mod makes it less tedious without removing challenge.
